Stock Market Weekly update -Apr 14th
We got a hot CPI report, causing a second weekly drop in the SPX, though with a lot of chopping around, closing the week at the 50MA and lower on all the indices again. JPM, BLK, WFC all dropped after reporting earnings on Friday! The VIX rallied for a 2nd week as well. So we continue to see a change in character for this 5 month stock rally. This week we get more Bank earnings, along with NFLX, TSM, and others. The Dollar -saw a big rally, rising for most of the year The 10 year Interest rate was up again, rising since the start of the year Gold had another big rally, but pulled back a bit.
