Stock Market Weekly update -Nov 16
The market dropped for a 3rd week, tho it recovered a bit on Friday, just as it did the prior week! The AI bubble could be near exhaustion here. Small-caps again dropped & this time closed below the huge drop we saw on 10/10. Crypto had another big drop for the week, with BTC dropping below 100k to around 95k. Gold rallied! The government shutdown finally ended last week, the CPI report was cancelled, while new odds of a Fed rate cut in December dropped quite a bit.
This week we get Nvidia's earnings report on Wednesday, along with some of the big Retailers.
The 10 year Interest rate -up a bit to 4.15%
The Dollar - flat/down slightly to 99.27
Gold - rallied to around $4082.
Oil - flat at around $59.94
Bitcoin - dumped to around 95k

The indexes: Stalling near the highs?
SPX SPY - In a weekly uptrend since April -dropped again last week
This is the first 3 week drop since the April bottom
Small-caps are getting weaker, after the huge run from the April bottom.
Dropping for a 3rd week, and closed below the big 10/10 drop, and the Nov 2024 high!
The DOW touched all time highs last week, before pulling back!
