Stock Market update -Jan 31
Crazy week with the GME short squeeze from the Reddit & Robinhood crowd. We also got earnings from FB, AAPL, TSLA, all of which dropped after reporting. NFLX & MSFT gave back their gains as well. This helped push the market down to close out Jan with a small loss, but with the worst weekly performance in 3 months.. The VIX also saw a steep rise. The market might be taking a break here, after an extended run.
Next week we get more earnings, including from AMZN & GOOGL. And we also get the monthly Jobs report on Friday. And maybe more fallout from the GME saga.
