Stock Market update -Jul 25th
Last week we saw a continuation of the prior Friday drop on Monday, followed by a massive rally, closing the indexes at all time highs again (except the Russell 2000 small-caps):
DOW over 35000
S&P over 4400
Nasdaq100 over 15000
This week we get earnings from the big tech companies and other notables like TSLA, AMD, BA, along with a Fed meeting thrown in for good measure!
Dow jumps more than 200 points to close above 35,000 for the first time ever
Covid cases are rising again in all 50 states across U.S. as delta variant tightens its grip
The VIX dropped last week with the market rally.
Bitcoin and other cryptos were trying to recover.
Oil was up, while Bonds & Gold dropped a bit.
The $US is still trending up

Investment grade Corporate Bonds (LQD) (2yr chart) -holding up near the highs
