Stock Market Weekly update -May 19th

We got a big rally after the CPI report on Wednesday, taking us to new all time highs  around 5303 on the SPX, surpassing the all time highs set in March. Likewise for the Nasdaq 100 and the DOW. However the small-cap Russell2000 is still far from its all time high set in October 2021. The VIX dropped further, holding near multi-year lows. Next week we'll see if this 4 week rally continues.

The Dollar -dropped (3 weeks now)
The 10 year Interest rate -also dropped
Gold rallied to all time highs of around 2414 -and Silver popped!
Oil -was up a bit
Bitcoin/Crypto -saw a nice rally

Pops & Drops/5 day movers:    AMD/GME popped -also HOOD. NVAX  popped for a 2nd week. FXI was up for a 4th week (China)

Percent of Stocks Above 50-Day Average ...up from 54 to 61%

S&P 500 - 4th week up -new all time high
