Stock Market Weekly update -Sep 22

 We rallied for another week closing near 5702 on the SPX after a nice Post Fed rally, and finally achieving a new all time high on the SPX! The DOW also set new all time highs once again. NVDA & Semiconductors were mostly sideways though. The Fed surprised Wall Street with a .5% Interest rate cut, starting a new rate easing cycle.


This week we get the PCE report on Friday -could be a quiet week?



The 10 year Interest rate -was actually up a bit!  3.72%

The Dollar - once more, dropped a bit! 100.74

Gold -popped for a 2nd week! $2622 New all time high!

Oil -rallied for a 2nd week 71.19 

Bitcoin/Crypto:  -rallied again to 64,000ish


New all time Highs:  AXP, BK, BX, ALL, ANET, CEG,CAVA,  META, NOW, NDAQ, RCL, IBN

  ALL time Lows:  –

Pops & Drops/5 day movers: CEG popped

Earnings movers: ,,     FDX, dropped


Percent of stocks above the 50 day Moving Average: up from 57 to 63%

Percent of S&P 500 stocks above the 50 day Moving Average: moved up from 72 to 77%
